Data We Access

Quiet Miles accesses the following data from Apple Health with your permission:

  • Walking workout sessions (distance, duration, date)
  • Running workout sessions (distance, duration, date)

This data is read from Apple Health and processed entirely on your device. We never upload this data to any server.

Data Storage

Your workout summaries and aggregated statistics are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. This data never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
  • Location data or GPS coordinates
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Analytics or usage tracking data
  • Crash reports containing personal data

Third-Party Services

Quiet Miles uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple HealthKit: To read your workout data with your permission
  • Apple App Store: To process in-app purchases

We do not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or social media SDKs.

In-App Purchases

Pro upgrade purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for information about how Apple handles purchase data.

Children's Privacy

Quiet Miles does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we do not collect any personal data from any users, we comply with applicable children's privacy regulations.

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device, the security of your data is protected by iOS security features, including device encryption and secure storage. We recommend keeping your iOS device updated to the latest version for optimal security.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Revoke Health data access in Settings > Privacy > Health
  • Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
