1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Quiet Miles ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Quiet Miles is an iOS application that reads walking and running workout data from Apple Health and displays distance summaries with year-over-year comparisons. The App is available in free and Pro versions.

3. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional Pro upgrade as a one-time in-app purchase. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

  • All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
  • Pro is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees
  • Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
  • You can restore purchases on any device signed in with the same Apple ID

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
  • Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties

5. Intellectual Property

Quiet Miles and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by tknzk and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Health Data

The App accesses workout data from Apple Health with your explicit permission. You acknowledge that:

  • The App displays data as provided by Apple Health
  • The App is not a medical device and should not be used for medical decisions
  • Data accuracy depends on the source devices and apps
  • You can revoke Health data access at any time through iOS Settings

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TKNZK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
